What is a transaction hash (TxID)?

A transaction hash (or Transaction ID, TxID) is a unique set of letters and numbers that is assigned to each transaction on the blockchain. It serves as a kind of "printed number" of the transaction and allows you to accurately identify it among millions of others.

The TxID is created automatically when funds are sent from the crypto wallet and becomes available immediately after the transaction is sent. It can be used for:

  • tracking the transfer status in the blockchain;
  • confirmation of sending funds;
  • verifying the correctness of the address and amount;
  • providing information to the support service if you have any questions.

To view transaction details using TxID, you can use any open blockchain browser (for example, Blockchain, Blockchain.com and others).
